Here are the first three knife blanks I’ve make using the new 1080 high carbon steel I ordered.
My impressions so are are that it cuts and grinds easily, so it must already be annealed. It is very nice working with nice steel that isn’t rusted or painted and doesn’t need to be unbent. So far, so good. I’ll keep you posted.
