After using sanders and such, I've grown a much greater appreciation for simple files. I've switched to using these to shape the bevel, the rest of the blade, the brass and the handle. I have much greater control with these and the knife turns out better. Here is a sample of the growing file collection. This includes rasps, mill bastards, second cut mill, smooth cut mill, needle files, rounds, half rounds, triangle and more. Each has it's own use.
