It was bound to happen... winter in Minnesota is about here. If I want to keep making knives, I need something to keep me warm in the garage. The answer was a HotZone heater from Radiant Optics (http://www.schaeferfan.com/HOTZONE_RADIANT_HEATERS_C1983.cfm)
The beautiful thing about this heater is that is casts radiant heat into a focused area. My garage isn't completely insulated and I only work in a small area when making knives. So, this HotZone heater does a great job of heating just me (not the rest of the garage) where I am working. I'm glad I got it installed before the cold really hit.
